How to Install Emergency Shut-off Valve for Gas？

Emergency shut-off valve of gas also known as solenoid valve, it'semergency cut-off device of gas pipeline.The solenoid valve could connect with gas leakage alarm system, fire system or other smart alarm controller terminal module etc, to cut the power on the site or remote control.
Solenoid valve with strong variation close valve and cut-off gas automatically function, protect gas safety. After close valve,personnel must confirm and check leakage situation on the site, then manual opening. So, how to install solenoid valve?
1) Please make sure there is no obvious damage of solenoid valve, check nameplate carefully and check if the diameter of item and pipeline match also need to confirm working pressure should greater than maximumpressure during pipeline normal operation;
2) The front end of valve inlet port should set with overhaul ball valve;
3) The valve should be installed horizontally, and lever valve keeps straight up.(If diameter of valve is DN80 or below DN80, which should be installed straight up);
4) If diameter of valve larger DN50, which should install pipe supports both ends of valve;
5) Please remove the dust proof paper of both ends of valve firstly during installation;
6) Please install the valve after clean up the pipeline, and better to install filter screen at inlet port;
7) If valve needs to be used in outdoor, please take some precautions, such as set dust cover.Routine Maintenance of Solenoid Valve;
Also there are some matters need to be paid more attention, as following.
1. Please conduct pipeline pressure test under valve opening, don't conductpressure test in inactive state;
2. Please keep valve body clean, and protect the cover after open the cover,?do not open or lose it;
3. Please check air tightness of valve regularly, check air tightness of lever valve and every connector with soap. If failure or gas leakage, pleaseshut-off repair valve and inform maintenance of unit to repair. Please notethat detection cycle not exceed one year;
4. Please test valve action function regularly, and control close valve on the linkage control equipment, which can open and close normally. Please note that test cycle not exceed one year. Solenoid valve can protect you and your family members' health efficiently, therefore, It is quite necessary to install solenoid valve.
