Common Potential Danger of LPG

 

Liquefied petroleum gas(LPG) is one kind of high quality and high efficiency clean energy, which brings a lot of convenience in our lives.Also due to it is easy to carry, many regions and countries in generaluse of LPG, However,there's also some danger of security, as follows.

 

 

 

1, Overloading

 

LPG will be expanded after heated, if container full of LPG, internal pressure within the gas will be increased even if temperature rise slightly, because of incompressible liquid. When actual pressure in container exceeds safety value,the vulnerable place of container will crack easily to cause liquefied petroleum gas leakage.

 

2, High Temperature Roasting

 

Put LPG holder tank into flame to bake, once the radiation heat of flame around the container introduce to the container, boiling liquid will produce high voltage. At the same time, due to the container exposed to fire, the tensile strength of container materials will decline sharply, probably causing explosion.

 

3, Defect of Equipment

 

There is some problems in container, such as material and welding techniques. All of these problems might cause large crack, therefore creates gas leakage and cause explosion.To solve daily use safety problems of LPG cylinder, it's quite necessary to install gas detector. The gas detector can provide comprehensive protection to personal and property safety.

 

 

Gas detector can 24-hour monitoring the situation of LPG leak, if LPG gas leakage, has detector will detected gas leakage rapidly within 30s. If leakage concentration reaches or surpasses alarming value of gas detector, which will emiss audible and light alarm to remind.
