What’s potential hazard of gas or liquid in in the fire fighting and rescue environment?

The first thing we need to do is to call fire alarm when in the fire, at the same time, pay attention to following potential hazards.

 

 

1) Hazards of Oxygen
When concentration of O2 exceeds 23%, which will cause some substances burn seriously, such as combats. When concentration of O2 exceeds 70%, which will be harmful to health, cause O2-poisoning.

And if concentration of O2 lower than 12%, people will lose judgment, breath with difficulty and the lips turn blue. Once concentration of O2 lower than 10%, people will start to vomit and incapacitated, even if death.
 
2) Hazards of toxic gas and toxic liquid
Gas, steam, smoke (such as H2S, SO2, CO, CL2,NH3, organic gas)

3) Hazards of combustible gas or ATEX
The strong concentration of gas, steam or dust can cause burn or explode
